Try the National Fibromyalgia Association and their “links” site

There are literally hundreds of different combinations of pain treatments available for Fibromyalgia. Finding a doctor(s) that are willing to treat you as a Fibromyalgia patient is another story.
If you’re just starting out on your oddesy to find a relief for all your pain, find a doctor start by telling him/her that you suffer from “chronic” pain and let them work it out.
Make sure you tell them you want them to plan out a treatment for you (and in your case, your baby).
From that point on, it’ll be a matter of finding the right pain treatment that works for you.
For me, part of of my treatment plan is the non-narcotic Ultram (also known as Tramadol). I also use Dextromethorphan as a non-narcotic alternative to ketamine. I’ve gone with a non-narcotic and non-addictive treatment plan. I would think this might be ok for someone that is breast feeding, but what do I know. So, get a doctor’s advice on this and don’t self-medicate.
Good Luck

You’ve got a child, so you’re already getting enough physical activity. Do light stretching exercises (only as much as doesn’t make the pain worse), and do things that help you relax — soak in a warm bath, listen to music, drink decaf Earl Grey tea (excellent “aromatherapy, in my opinion) and read a good book… Get a massage if you can. Sometimes exercising in a heated pool helps more than the warm water and exercise would separately.

fibromyalgia is a symptom of something wrong internally…i’d certainly get tested for viral infections like hcv, mono (chronic)
of course, if you had anastesia during birth it could be the cause of your pain as chemicals can sometimes cause it.
try going no meat for a while…you can get protein by nuts, peanut butter and tofu….this may help with some of the pain, if not all of the pain.

i have it too and my therapist has it too, keeping healthy, vitamins, and water therapy helps out alot with a hot tub after you do some exercises in the pool, but nothing takes the pain away , just helps you deal with it better, sorry!!!!
