I am really determined to become a physical therapist, but do you think I will have major difficulties? I was also wondering if it would be okay to start at a community college for their physical therapy assistant program and then transfer for the other schooling that I will need.

First, if you have any intention of becoming a PT, dont’ start in the PTA program…it will only waste your time as no credits transfer to the PT program and as a PTA student, you do not get any of the prerequisites required to enter PT school.
Second, you need to do well in at least trigonometry and/or calculus. You need these classes so you can do well in physics. Finally, you also need to do well in statistics (which I think is the easiest of all of them). These are all some of the prerequisite courses, therefore, I would say strive to get at least a B. Yet, there is no reason why you cannot go back and take other math courses first so you can build up your skills prior to taking trig/calc.
Good luck

When you go to college just make sure you do well in math.
