All the attorney can do is charge you for the work s/he has put into the case, typically with a lein against any future money collected on your behalf. People change lawyers for Personal injury all the time; if you are not happy, fire him or her. But understand, there may be really legitimate reasons your case hasn't been settled yet, so don't expect miracles.
