I can't believe that you have gone so long with out pills! If you aren't happy with the care you received, you should just let them know. Good luck! He should have been up front with you and said that you would only be seeing a nurse. It's ridiculous to wait a month just to end up seeing a nurse, who do not and should not be making diagnosis of any kind. You have a couple of options. One would be to call the doctor at his office and tell them what happened and that the doctor had led you to believe that he would be seeing you and treating you but it was just a nurse. Also tell them that you are still in a lot of pain. If the doctor still won't help, then maybe you need to see a different doctor, even if it means that you have to save up for it. Or check around your area for other clinics that actually have doctors on staff. The Patient Bill of Rights states that everyone is entitled and has the right to be treated fairly by a doctor. Maybe your other doctor was in his way, trying to offer you some kind of help, but if it did not help, then you need to call him. Ask if you can set up a payment plan. Since you have seen him before, they should agree to it, as long as you agree to pay a set amount every month until the bill is paid. Best of luck. Hope I helped.
