I have a knee, doctor says there is something wrong with my patella, he says it is from a sudden jolt of action (when not Warmed up).
If I had taken physical therapy, does it actually work?

Physical therapy will most likely help you with your problem. Even if it does not fix it, it will likely make it feel much better. There are a number of conditions where therapy does not help and surgery is needed.

If you honestly do what the physical therapist tells you to do, then yes. You have to ice it as many times and as long as they tell you to. You must do the exercises for the length of time and amount of days they tell you as well. Otherwise, you will not heal as quickly.

Yes, physical therapy absolutely works if you do it as instructed and as often as instructed.
