When I read your question,I identified with your pain. The physical pain of getting a tattoo will not block the inner pain you feel. I think that we learn to deal with physical abuse,but no one can prepare us to deal with the mental scars that don’t show. The tattoo will only remind you of the part of your life that you need to heal from. Why don’ you spend the money on your 3 great children? You have been blessed with them and they will last. They are a wonderful reminder that God gave you a reason to live. I wish the best for you.

Get more therapy. Sounds like you have a history of abuse and that needs to be treated or else you’re going to be drawn to abusive guys or sabotage good guys. I would put tattoos low on the priorities and get your depression treated.

I think getting a tattoo would be a great way to deal with this. Yeah, you would feel the pain of getting that tattoo, and maybe it would symbolically open your mental pail receptors or something. Sounds like a really meaningful tattoo. Do it

i think you should going vacation alone and think about what you gonna do with your marriage. i think when you in good enviroment and calm down with yourself you can think clear and make the decision nicely . anyway you dont need tattoo in your body just for symbolic because god is everywhere and in your heart too. he will support you in anyway because he love you , i hope everything gonna be work out
