I’m tired of the meds that only give me 4 hours of pain free day. Physical therapy 3 times a week for months leaves me worse off that night and day after. Multiple problems leaves me with only a miracle left to fix me. Back injuries which causes leg problems and sitting up isn’t takin for granted any more either. In my head I see myself running but I wake up and it ain’t so. Just venting, please no sympathy I can’t stand that either. But if I were a horse what do you think? Would they have cloned me? Oh yes, I was something before the injuries. lol

Been there doing that my friend, I feel for you. Once your quality of life diminishes because of pain, no-one understands, I’ve given up a ton of things i used to enjoy. Golfing, basketball, water skiing, even relations with the Mrs(I haven’t totally given that up, once that happens I’ll die of lead poisoning, “the bullet”) We own a boat, I find floating around in the water to be one of the most comfortable things I can do. I’m not overweight, I’m 45 years old, I coach basketball and baseball and just refuse to stop living, it’s just living through the pain that really bites!! Hang in there, there’s alot of us out here in the same boat. I have to seek pain meds like a crack addict seeks his blue cap. Dr.’s aren’t to liberal in handing out prescriptions. Oh by the by it’s my back. Been told, herniated disc, bulging disc, sciatica, etc…blah, blah, blah…

The first thing you need to do is see a pain management doc as that is all the do is deal with pain and nothing else. My girlfriend is pretty much in your shoes but she see a pain doc for her pain control.

If you were a horse and your owners only wanted you to win races then yeah they would put you down, but if they loved you for more then just winning then no. They would do everything they could to make you feel better. Sorry you’re so messed up. I hope you get better. Don’t let anyone shoot you! You’re not a horse, right? LOL j/k!

I’m sorry your not doing well, I hope you are better soon. Tell your doctor to recommend someone that can help with dealing with the pain and a change of meds might be in order.

I hear ya! I have been having surgery after surgery after surgery on my knees and have been bedridden for months. All I do is pop pills and keep having surgeries. I think they just make me worse instead of better. They would have shot us both if we were horses!!
