Ok im 16 and having this horrible pain by my right shoulder blade.Its between my shoulder blade and spine.It feels like someones stabbing me and is worse when i lay down.Also i have a dull pain all up my back into my neck witch is really stiff Like i feel like i have to crack it.I have had a MRI and xray but both are negative.My doc sent me to physical therapy witch seems to be only making it worse..what else could this be..what do i do

I don’t know if it’s the same thing that I get or not since I only get it when I am on the computer too much. Are you on yours a lot, sitting there with your hand rested on the mouse? That postion does a number on your shoulder and area around your shoulder blade. Try spending a little less time on your PC, and when you are on it try to keep your back straight and your hand off of the mouse as much as possible. If you’re gaming on it, then it will make it worse. My neck is so out of whack and I honestly think it’s from sitting at this desk late at night when I get home from work and my hubby and son are asleep. I do take some time away a few days and I do seem to feel a bit better because of it.

deep muscle spasm, best to see a DO for spine manipulation. need muscle relaxants/flexeril/ heat. simple exercises, and anti inflammatories. when lying down, curl legs to fetal position or lie on side. try relaxing in warm bath or hot tub. try arm exercises, gently rotation and neck rotation, side to side, front to back. Hope you feel better. pain is when not enough blood flow to spasmed area… and then it radiates. Physical therapy can hurt initially, try ultra sound or TENS units, even swimming in warm pool may help…
