What kind of classes would they be required to take? How long would they have to be in college at minimum and at maximum? I have been going to physical therapy for my knee for 2 months now and I’m a junior in high school and i might be interested in going for that as a degree on top of my other career choice, which is a journalist. Of curse my mind isn’t made up, but it would be nice to know what type of classes I would have to take in college, and what steps I would have to take.

Becoming a PT takes 6-7 years of college. In your undergraduate years, you will take a lot of bio, chemistry, physics, psych and math. As you complete your BS degree, you apply for admission to the professional phase. If accepted, you begin taking courses more specific to physical therapy.
I recommend going to the APTA website at http://www.apta.org to learn more
