Have you seen a chiropractor? Have you seen a neurosurgeon? You don't say what the x-ray or MRI show. You said it is S1, but what is wrong with it? Could it be surgically repaired? Have you had epidural injections? I am presently going to a pain clinic myself. It's a lot of trial and error in finding something to either eliminate or ease the pain. I wish you luck. I understand your frustration. I had chronic right leg & back pain for 30 years. I was treated by a chiropractor and was on Lortab. Then I had a terrible fall that changed the kind of and intensity of the back pain. X-ray & MRI show degeneration for all the joints. Unless someone has been in your shoes, they really don't understand what pain you are going through. It's a lonely road that you travel. You are probably tired of hurting and tired of complaining. I am sorry you are going through this. If the doctor you are working with isn't helping you, look for another. There is help out there, you just have to try and find it. Good Luck!!
