on april 23rd me and my friend got rear ended and i went to the hospital and they said i just had whip lash, well on may 13th me and my mom were in another accident that was pretty serious. I again went to the dr and i have a sprained wrist and i have to go to 2 weeks of physical therapy. I got a cat scan but nothing showed up. Well it is now the 19th and my head still hurts to lay it down and to make quick movements. I am a little more sensative to light(it makes my head hurt) and really any movement makes it hurt. This pain is not in my neck, it is mainly on the left side of my head. Any advice? should i see the dr again or call them?

So I recently tore my acl during a soccer game during the club season. By the time I had my surgery it was 5 months until the high school season started. I’m the best returning player and it will be my senior season, so it’s really important to me. I was just wondering if any of you know of someone who has successfully completed physical therapy in less than 6 months? And is it more likely for my to tear my acl again in the same knee?
Any information about acl and knee rehab would be appreciated.

I have had surgery on right heel, now in physical therapy. My left knee needs surgery that will be 4-6 months heeling process. A Lot of pain. I am willing to travel for a pain specialist and I have the best doctor willing to give me a referral .Please, if someone knows of what I can do, let me know. Thanks…And there is more of the story, but I know everyone has one…
I have had problems with a pinched nerve in my neck for 9 years. It affects the top of my shoulder and alternates between feeling numb to the touch, having shooting pains to my elbow or thumb, and/or just constant pain. I’ve been seeing the chiropractor all during this time and while it helps a little, it’s not dramatic. I also use a cold pack on it for 15-20 minute intervals whenever it gets to be too much to bear.
All the info I’ve been able to find on the internet concerns pinched nerves in wrists or the lower back, not neck the like I have. Also, they all say to rest the affected area for 2 weeks and you’ll be good as new. That DEFINETELY isn’t going to help me after 9 years of trouble.
Has anyone had this same problem? If so, what did you do about it (surgery? painkillers? physical therapy?) I am only 25 and I feel like I’m 70. I’m afraid I will have trouble later on in life because computer work makes it worse, and everything nowadays involves computers…

It was determined that I have a torn ACH tendon. I am now looking at physical therapy and rehab and possibly surgery. My husband spoke with the restaurant yesterday and they were horribly rude and uncooperative. Any advice on what to do??
I slipped on spilled salsa (NOT mine) in a restaurant Saturday and hit my knee on the cement floor very hard. I went in to the doctor yesterday due to the swelling, pain and not being able to bear weight. It was determined that I have a torn ACH tendon. I am now looking at physical therapy and rehab and possibly surgery. My husband spoke with the restaurant yesterday and they were horribly rude and uncooperative. I am not a “sue happy” person…I do not want damages for pain and suffering, or whatever it’s called. But I don’t feel I should be responsible for medical bills when they should have cleaned up the spilled salsa.
Any advice on what to do?
I have had 2 herniated disck in my L 4&5.I have done physical therapy ,heat and cold,shots,pills,stimulation,The shots worked the best but after 3 series they cant no more.I hate to have surgery but my weight has gone up and up cause my activities of walking especially hurt so badly.Any advice on any of this?
I have had constant pain in my back/shoulder for about 6 years now. Been to doctors, chiropractors, physical therapy, massage, nothing helps. I don’t have any money to try any more doctors at this point in time-
I’m just wondering if anyone has advice on nursing my son, different positions, etc or any ideas on things I can take/do for pain that are safe while I’m nursing? Nursing lying down has been helpful. Tylenol is not helping the pain. Any stretches/exercises that worked for you? The more weight he gains the worse the pain gets, it has now become an intense burning pain & I’m finding it difficult to even support him with my right arm.
He’s 5 months- if I start nursing him on the left side most of the time will my left side produce more milk to compensate, or would I just create more problems?

My left elbow has started to hurt. At rest it is an achey feeling.It also hurts when you palpate on the outer side of it.. When ever I try to straighten it sometimes it catches and I have to bring it back up and then slowly bring it down. When it catches it is a sharp pain. Also when ever I straighten my elbow it pops. Just recently it has started to have a intense sharp pain when I try to use strength in that arm.. I don’t know what is causing this. What do you think is wrong?
(Also I am still going to physical therapy for my shoulder in the same arm for having a SLAP repair, i don’t know if this has anything to do with this.) Just recently when I go to physical therapy the stretches for my shoulder are now hurting my elbow and I don’t know whats wrong.

Hi,as I sit here crying I’m begging someone who knows how to deal with chronic lower back pain,to please give me some ideas.I’ve had this for 13 years and it’s every single day.I wake up every morning praying not to feel it,that is if I’m lucky enough to drift off to sleep even for a short while.I like to be on the go and this stops me dead in my tracks.A pain that I’m tired of.A burning constant pain, pain.I have degenerative disk disease and bulging disks on L4 and L5.I’m 32 and Monday is my birthday.This all stems from a epidural during my second child’s birth performed by a practicing Dr.(about 13 years ago,Nyack Hospital Rockland County N.Y.)One of the biggest law suites I missed out on.(major family problems at the time) I’m on powerful pain medicine but it doesn’t seem to take much of the pain away.And if I miss a dose I get irritable,tired,hot/cold flashes and a freezing nose.
I’ve tried everything. I feel like I’m at my wits end.Like I’m going to crack.People don’t understand emotionally how hard it is to be in pain every minute of everyday.I’ve had electric stimulation,massage therapy, adjustments,ice/heat physical therapy, a machine that was heavy as hell that vibrated and shocked my back all at once.Stretching, exercise.Next Thursday I’m suppose to go for spine decompression.DRX6000? Some new machine that’s suppose to help.
Anyways anyone with any advice whats so ever I would greatly appreciate.Sorry to have broken down yet I can not be alone in this unforgiving situation.Take care to you all.
