If i walk with my knees straight…with no bending at all, i’ve noticed a big difference even from yesterday. The pain that i had is almost gone.
But walking with knees straight is like limping and not normal.
When i attemp to walk normally, i feel weird sensation in the muslce/ligament area above the knee cap, kind of like the Quad muslce. It’s not just weird, it kind of feels like really weird and so i dont feel like i should walk.
Should i keep walking with knees straight so that i dnot cause more damage or should i try to walk normally even if it feels really weird as if my ligament get tied up?
Orthopedic said my knee is stable, he did tell me to go to physical therapy. So that’s what i will do but i was wondering why pain is diminishing but the weird sensation is still there

I am in such pain from a TKR, its been almost 6 weeks. My Doctors tell me it will go away and have conservatively presecribed 5 milligrams of Percoset 2 times a day and Alleive 4 tablets every 4 hours. The Doctors tell me that the underlying tissue has been cut and put back in place and it will take some time. I think the time should have shown some releif (6 weeks). The Doctors are very much against giving narcotic pain medication in fear of addiction. I understand their position but I feel the need for pain medication just to get up from the chair. Physical Therapy is grueling. I feel that I should not have gone through with the operation and would do anything to have my pre operation pain and old knee back. Sometimes I think the Doctors are minimizing or thinking Im boasting the pain level. The implant is fine according to x-rays, there is no infection, my range of motion is about 98 degrees and physical therapy seems to be going well. CAN ANYONE OUT THERE SHARE SOME INSIGHT????
The pain is still in my shoulder so the shot didnt work, and I am going to physical therapy for the pain. It seems reaccuring, but the red mark left from the shot is worrying me,
The other car was going about 30 mph and hit us square. I initially saw a doctor and was told it is classic whiplash. I had a few weeks of physical therapy, but I am still in pain and worried it will never go away. Some days are ok, but no day is pain-free. I even get a tingling sometimes.
I try to exercise my neck and keep active, plus use a heat pad sometimes. But, is there something more I can do? I went back to the Dr. one month ago and got x-rays. I have a loss of lordosis—not exactly sure what that is, but apparently it could’ve been there before. Should I keep seeing more doctors?
Can’t seem to find solution to lower back pain.
Diagnoses: (1) mild stenosis, spondyleosis – L4 level, minimal annular bulging – MRI shows mild problem (2) neurologist – not neurlogical (2) back specialist – not significant problem (3) current diagnosis: pelvic misallingment :prescribed excercises, losing weight, stress reduction, wear lift in left shoe as left leg 1/2 inch shorter
Failed remedies: (1) numerous incl. pain-killers (2400 mg ibuprofen/advil, oral steroids, muscle relaxants, viox, prioxicam, (2) conventional physical therapy, including electro-stim, hot and cold packs (3) currently, pelvic misallingment therapy has worsened problem, constant pain regardless of sitting.
Description of pain: originally only when long driving, later sciatica more recently lower back when sitting now sharp in lower back/butt all times.
Q: Suggestions? own experience? Continue leg inserts/current therapy? Acupuncture? Injections? Spinal decompression? Deep tissue massage? Other?
