10 Points Best Answer! Benign Nods In Shoulder, With Pain Lasting More Than 3 Monthes, With Mri ? *?

i have had shoulder pain for more than 3 monthes after a swimming injury. i have pain in my shoulder before (even when not swimming) but i didnt take it seriously but after the injury it hurt enough to see a doc. i got x-rays done, been having physical therapy twice a week for 3 monthes and seen a sports medicine physician. i got a mri but my doc said its normal but i requested a copy and it stated:
-benign nodes in shoulder
- fluid in bursa
i have cracking, unbearable pain (with a high pain tolerance), and im on anti-inflammatories, and taping on shoulder but no less pain.
i am also worried because i have found a lump on my collarbone about 6 monthes ago, and forgot about it. now in the shower the other day i felt it and its gotten wayyy bigger.
could the nodes in my shoulder be cancerous? is the lump bad? its on the same side of my injured shoulder so could it be causing pain?
also, im only 13 so how do i tell my parents about the lump, they may not believe me. 10 points!

Is physical therapy a good field to go into? Good/bad points? Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks once again!

What Is The Best Way To Find Out How To Either Observe, Volunteer, Or Work With A Physical Therapist?

I decided that I want to pursue physical therapy as a career versus going to medical school. I graduated from the University of Illinois a BS in Liberal Arts and Sciences (chemistry major) in May 2006. Have been working as a chemist in lab since August 2006. Plan on taking GRE by the end of the year and may have to retake some prerequisites to boost GPA. Any help that can be provided is much appreciated.

Which Doctor Is Best For Back Injuries?

I have a back injury related to an elevator accident. I have a herniated disc in L5 S1. It’s worker’s comp related & they did NOT approve epidural injections that my pain management doc suggested nor did they approve physical therapy.
I decided to get a lawyer involved and have the shots anyways despite pros/cons & since workers comp takes too long to approve anything. Its now been a year and nothings done. They gave me a choice of doctors (by the time they approve stuff, I will already have had the shots).
Which speciality is best (I chose relevant ones on their list) ? Keep in mind that I will already have had shots and that they “randomly” select THREE docs in that specialty so I cant go to my “own.”
(1) Orthopaedic Surgery
(2) Pain Management – Anesthesiology
(3) Pain Management – Pain Medicine
(4) Physical Medicine & Rehab
(5) Acupuncture
(6) Chiropractic – Orthopaedic
(7) Chiropractic – Sports Medicine
(8) Chiropractic – Rehab

Chronic Back Pain- 10 Points To The Best Answer!!!!!!?

I am a 17 year old male around 130 pounds very active. I play tennis, but have chronic back, knee and general joint pain. When I was 15 years old I was diagnosed with mild scoliosis. Later that year I experienced a stress fracture in my femur and developed longer term tendinitis in my ankles and knees. Low grade pain medication have not worked in the slightest bit, and I don’t want to be on pain killers or anything of the sort. My parents are opposed to chiropractors and physical therapy. What can i do to get some relief……. i want to try a session with a massage therapist specializing in chronic back pain (shes a family friend) or a chiropractor. What do you suggest???
Lately my lower back by the back of my pelvis, I experience sharp but mostly aching pain sometimes followed by numbness and throbbing. It’s very close to the nerves, and the vertebrates in my back are sensitive to the touch and if pressed on correctly, I will experience extremely sharp pain.

What Is The Best Car To Buy For Someone With Low Back Pain?

I get low back pain when I drive. I’ve had a medical workup. Physical therapy, cushions while driving, frequent brakes, and proper body position all help. I still get some back pain, however. I’m taking a job that requires driving 45 minutes to work. Sadly, public transportation is not an option. What is the best car to drive? I’m 6 feet tall. The best car I’ve driven (for my back) was an old Chevy station wagon with bench seats. The worst was an old Honda Civic. We currently own a Honda CRV – still gives me back pain. Ideas?
