What Is A Better Volunteer Opportunity ?

I am a university student looking to volunteer in a hospital that is mainly for older patients, I have two options, either to work in Rehab settings or in patient care, I don’t really know what the difference in responsibilities would be like but the volunteering assistant I spoke with said that the rehab setting is more of a group-work kind of thing, while patient care is more an individual responsibility, I plan to apply to nursing and/or physical therapy schools later, so what setting (rehab or patient care) do you think I should choose ?

From Your Experience, which Worked Better 4u~chiropractor Or Physical Therapy??

Fell yrs. ago. was by far the worst a week following.
However a ‘problem’ still remains in lower back.
Luckily it wasn’t bad enough for surgery nor am I in excruciating pain.
However long hrs. of work can start it to act up after only 3-4 hrs. :o (
Okay, so if you’ve a back problem too, and TRIED both chiropractic treatment as well as physical therapy, which method helped you the most?
I hear PT hurts for awhile [like a few days?],but then feels really really great afterwards.
Please explain,thx!

Which I A Better Degree To Have, Physical Therapy Assistant Or Medical Assistant?

I am planning on becoming a physical therapist assistant and my couselor at my school said that I can also get a degree in medical assisting, while I am waiting to get into the PTA program, but I’m not really sure which one is better and what exactly a medical assistant is. I love physical therapy and it is my dream to become a PTA. Any suggestions?
