Whats The Difference Between An Occupational Physical Therapist And A Physical Therapist Assistant?
Feb 26
I want to be a Physical Therapist — muscle rehab, joint rehab, bone rehab, etc. Help people recover from injuries that leave them near immobile. You get the picture. Anyway, I will be going to an instate school: ASU or U of A. ASU has a kinesiology major. U of A has a physiology major. I want to go to the school with the major that will lead me in the right direction to Physical Therapy. Anyway, what’s the difference between the two? I can’t get a lock on which major will best guide me in the right direction.
Thanks!
I applied for a job as a Physical therapy technition and the job only metioned you need a background in exercise. I have a 4 year degree in Exercise Physiology and 1 year personal training experience. Any ideas what the difference is between a technition and aide or does it sound like the same type of job?

I had a MRI performed on my shoulder and the results raised a possibility of a nondisplaced labral tear. I was experiencing pain in my shoulder a few weeks ago but have had no pain lately. I have also been put on a physical therapy program and was wondering when i can workout?
