The doctor tells me its my SI joint, but I think they are wrong. I’ve been on pain meds for 6 years. I’ve endured a cortisone injection, ongoing physical therapy, a manipulation from an osteopath, and tens unit treatment. I’ve also tried lidoderm patches. Nothing works. My doctors are trying to ween me off of my pain medication, which means I’ll be permanently bed ridden by next month. I guess maybe they think I’m lying about my pain. I suffered a traumatic brain injury upon the onset of this pain. I was in a coma for 16 days. Could this be related? What should I do? I just want to be pain free and medication free. But by the way things are looking at this point, I’ll only end up off my meds and still in excruciating pain. Any advice?
