I’ve dislocated both of my knees. The last time was in September on my birthday at the party!(SUCKED!) Well I’ve been through physical therapy for months and my knee is still swollen and they both feel like they will dislocate again. My doctor knows. What can I do for the pain? I’ve taken meds and Iced it about 5 times a day. By the way I’m 13 so it’s not like my bones are really old or anything…

I dislocated my knee a month and a half ago.
I’ve been going 2 physical therapy
I’ve been walking the last few days without my crutches and everythings been fine.
But today there is a very sharp burning pain, like 100 needles, giong in a straight small line at the top of my knee to the inside where it was dislocated.
Is this supposed to happen?
Is it supposed to be part of healing process?
SHould I stop walking on it?
I am not going 2 see a docter, nor do I plan 2
I am in alot of pain. The accident happened three months ago. I was thrown from a motorcycle and hit tree at about 30 miles hour. I hit the tree with my arm and broke it in two places and dislocated my shoulder. I had surgery on my arm and sometimes it hurts too, especially at work. I work as an instructor at a university. So I have trouble when I write on the overhead and during some of the labs. I have tried physical therapy… but I hate it. I don’t mind going, but with my busy life I feel like I am missing out with time with my kids. Is there anything I can take for the pain. Most of the pain is in my shoulder, but sometimes my arm hurts too.
its been 2 weeks since i dislocated it in a fight and now my shoulder has no pain and doesnt bother me but my ortho said to wear my sling for 6 weeks but i dont trust him cuz the guy didnt even examine my shoulder and my x rays showed that my bones were normal
Im 26 and physically active (basketball, surfing mostly) but dislocated my right shoulder last year. It’s occasionally pops out and I have to pop it back in, which is uncomfortable but not hard. Just looking for some tips on physical rehab, good foods, drugs, etc. (anything that will help strengthen the shoulder). Thanks.
