I have been in pain from a large herniated cisk in my cervical for about 2 years now due to an auto accident. I have had mris, physical therapy, accupuncture, cortizone shots,and facet blocks. All with no releif. I was sent to a neurosergeon by my spinal surgeon. He says that i dont need surgery unless i can’t move my legs or if i can’t control my bowels.so what do i do now? The large herniated disc is pressing on my nerve canal and is causing great pain at times. Has anyone out there experienced anything like this? HELP

My sister has a pain in shoulder, and on neck right on spine. None of the doctors know what it is. They’ve had her do physical therapy, one said it was lipoma, but it turned out it wasn’t. What’s wrong with her. She’s had the pain ever since she was 6, and it still hurts she is now 16., also when you touch it it feels really weird and hard, it looks weird too like it is swollen, and it is purple from a shot a Dr. gave her to get rid of the pain which didn’t work. Thank You for your answers.
Ok im 16 and for the past few months iv had severe back pain.Its right in between my shoulder blades but i cant pin point where.It also goes into my neck and its incredibly stiff.The Pains a stabbing throbbing pain.Iv had xrays and mris that were negative.Iv been in physical therapy for about 4 weeks and it seems to be making it allot worse.I felt ok this morning and then when the PT and after i was in so much pain i wanted to cry.What else can i do…i don’t know what else can be wrong
Last January I fell on my wrist and pain started a week later. I had pain in between the ligaments leading to my middle and ring finger and pain around my entire wrist. I couldn’t hold anything or write. It was only a little swollen and I went to the doctor the next day. They took x-rays and found nothing and after wearing a brace for 2 months, the pain stopped. The pain came back in April, but it was only a shooting pain a couple of times a week with certain movements and only in my wrist, not my hand.
After the pain started again in my hand, and the pain in my wrist got worse, i went to the doctor (last month). The doctors have done an arthrogram where they injected contrast into my wrist and took x-ray images and then did an MRI but they found nothing. I was sent to physical therapy and the only temporary solution is taping my wrist. There is still some pain even when it is taped. I sleep with a carpal tunnel brace (on my physical therapist’s orders) but the pain is still continuing.
Has anybody had an experience with pain like this or even knows whats wrong?
and what are some good schools to attend to become a physical therapist?
I’ve had back pain for years and it seems to be getting worse day by day. My neck, shoulders, and spine hurts so much. I cant even function, i just want to lay down…sometimes it gets so bad i scream and cry. i’ve been to orthapedics, chiroprators, physical therapy, and have had xrays done.No doctor really knows what wrong with me..only thing they know is that i have a minor case of scoliosis. Meds such as advil and other over the counter meds dont seem to work at all…
