I’ve been attending physical therapy for months then I stopped not because the therapy ended. Now, I’m just trying to find other ways of curing my shoulder. I tried to drink pain relievers but the pain eases temporarily then it hurts again.

Frozen Shoulder Pain?

I have had orthoscopic surgery and manipulation on both shoulders in the last year and the doctor has cut off my pain meds, and the pain is constant everyday. I need a home remedy. I still have frozen shoulder in the left, and take physical therapy 4 times a week with little results but a lot of pain, ALL THE TIME.
Besides physical therapy, what can be done for frozen shoulder? Any help is greatly appreciated….my Mom (64) is going through this and could use some advice. She’s going to start physical therapy, but is there any specific pain meds that might help? Alternative/holistic therapy? Thanks!

I have been fighting frozen shoulder for two years.I have had two surgery’s and a year of physical therapy. The pain persists and the dr. is now treating it with Vicodin. The drug does not even help it so I only take it to help me sleep and that does not even work very good.After a couple of hours I wake up in so much pain.Any one else ever gone through this? I have had type 1 diabetes for close to 40 years and I am a 44 year old male

Someone at the office said that the pain during therapy was as bad as natural childbirth. I find that hard to believe, but she has never had a child.
