I had my son on Dec. 27th 2008. I went to see an ortho doctor while I was pregnant because my hip kept “popping” out of place. The doctor told me that it was doing this because of a hormone that is released during pregnancy called relaxin and that it would clear up on its own. So, I did the physical therapy to help with the short term pain and continued on with my pregnancy. Well here I am 6 months after my child was born and I am still having this problem. What does everyone think it is? Can you still have relaxin in your body 6 months after birth?

I was hit by a car last summer and my should was the last thing to be fixed. It wasnt a emergency per Drs. But now im still haveing problems. Im still in Physical therapy. Im back to work now and i need my shoulder working fully. Im a nurce and i work in ICU mostly with Brain injurys and Spinal cord injurys. so im always liftin pulling hoding up patients. I cant go to a new area as a nurce and i dont want to. I just want to get back what i had befor the accident. And i know Im very lucky to be bitching about this it could have been a lot worse. But that dosent help with my shoulder.
Any idea what this could be? I’ve had shoulder pain for the longest time – I hurt my shoulder about two years ago and have had surgeries and physical therapy – but the last two months the pain has come back and been extremely bad. Today it’s all up the right side. My neck, collar bone and temple (and also my head behind my ear) is throbbing and my shoulder is burning. It’s hard to explain. Any suggestions?
I had ankle surgery in may and have been in a cast for 6 weeks and a walking boot for another 6. i am in my second week of physical therapy. today i did mini-squats and step ups and right now i am having pain in my knee. is this normal for right now?
I have been diagnoised with sciatic and it has been coming on and off for a little bit now. I have had back problems for 5 years now and have tried chiro and physical therapy and both have not helped. What else can I do? And if I need surgury how long will recovery take?
I would appreciate any comments from someone who has gone through this or any similar procedure. I am especially worried about the rehab/physical therapy phase. Not so much the process, but the results. I know the repair will never be as strong as before the injury, and wondering can anyone give some insight on what I can expect?
i got in 2 car accidents and went to physical therapy for about 9 months. it helped for the most part but i still get pain in my upper back and neck. any ideas on how to stop it?
About 6 years ago I had rotator cuff surgery. My shoulder still hurts and I have proplems doing overhead work. Is this normal? I have seen 2 orthopedic surgeons, a pain management specialist, 2 chiropractors, and a physiologist. I also went through the necessary physical therapy as reccommended by the orthopedic surgeon who performed the surgery.
I was in a car wreck 7 months ago. i was the passenger in the front seat and someone pulled out in front of us. We tried to stop but ended up hitting the side of there car. ive been to an orthopedic who put me through physical therapy 3 months and now ive started continuing chiropractic care for 4 months now. They have done an MRI and x-rays but everything comes back normal. in my mind i can pinpoint the exact location of where my neck hurts but its hard to explain it to the specialists. ive gone to 2 diff. doctors. 2 diff. chiropractors and 1 therapy doctor. Im running out of options and still in pain. Is there really something wrong with me or what?! i just need someone elses view of what i should do and why the doctors arent finding somethin. am i doing something wrong?

The pain is located in the left scapula and upper thoraic spine, do you think acupuncture would help? Because Physical therapy didnt help me at all, please help.
