I’ve dislocated both of my knees. The last time was in September on my birthday at the party!(SUCKED!) Well I’ve been through physical therapy for months and my knee is still swollen and they both feel like they will dislocate again. My doctor knows. What can I do for the pain? I’ve taken meds and Iced it about 5 times a day. By the way I’m 13 so it’s not like my bones are really old or anything…

19 years old. Just had a breast reduction. I have mostly treated depression/anxiety. I also get kidney stones. Have had horrible back pain for 6 years now. I’ve always had a larger chest, but this back pain effects my life to the point where I cant work, drive, go to school. I need to be on narcotics for pain sometimes. Its been a few weeks since the surgery and I am STILL in the same amount of excruciating pain. We never knew if this would solve the problem but we hoped. Doctors have run tests, blood tests, x rays, ultra sounds, massage therapy, chiropractor, physical therapy, NOTHING has shown up, and NOTHING has helped. I have extreme fatigue, I can sleep for 19 to 20 hours a day if allowed. This pain is NOT the same as when I get my kidney stones, it’s totally different and it has taken over my entire life. Does anyone have any clue or idea of what could be the problem? I feel like there is something that the doctors are not seeing. I need to get this taken care of, I HAVE to live. Any ideas or help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.
He also took me captive the morning of Wed. Feb. 06 and 2008. He was clearly out of his mind. I escaped several hours later. I believe he is sinking into dementia, and with his drinking, its getting even worse. The only witness I have to these events is my sister, who is a near-idiot and cannot be relied upon. At least one person suggested that I have him go to rehab – which he will never do. Do I need to have him confined to a psychiatric ward for evaluation? This seems cruel as he is old and has several illnesses. I don’t want him to spend his last days in a ward (or prison), but I feel that I have to protect him – and myself. Should I report this to my local police?
In October, I hyper-extended my knee in a soccer game. My ACL stretched out, and my bone ended up with what the doctors called a ‘bone bruise’. Now, six months later, I’m still experiencing pain where the bruise was. After playing for about fifty minutes, it starts to hurt again. I’ve rested it and strengthened it, although I haven’t received physical therapy. My question is, how long does it take for bone bruises to heal? is it normal for my pain to still be lingering?
even in my head. I have a feeling of slight fluid retention in my left leg and right arm only. I also have a fluid feeling and sometimes pain in my heart area. A massage therapist told me that two of my dics were our of place, I have had chest x-trays and went to physical therapy, I have really bad post nasal drip and allergies too along with heart palpatations and low engery levels. Could this all be from the injury, if so how long does it take to recover from a serious imapct injury, I know I have chest problems of some sort because of it and it is causing problems in my left side and heart area or maybey I now have heart problems becauuse of it but I had an EKG that was ok and normal chest x-rays.
Last August I was in a freak accident while boarding at the ocean. Along with breaking my face, I also got severe whiplash in my neck and lower back. I had physical therapy for a while and when the pain in my muscles went mostly away, I stopped. There are two places if I touch in my back and lower back directly on my spine that pinch terribly and radiate pain through my legs and back-which usually results in an instant migraine. Could this pain be only from the trauma, or something more serious? I cannot walk around for more than two hours without having to lay down-(sitting is also painful)
I’m asking this question on here, because my back specialist 100% disregarded me because he believes that nothing should be wrong in someone my age. Horrible doctor-yes I plan on getting a new one.
I did not get an MRI when I went to the hospital because they were more concerned about the blood i was losing from my head.

I had both knees replaced 2 months ago physical therapy has become alot more painful on one leg,it is to the point that my doctor has had me stop therapy and I go back and see him next week.What esle can be done for my pain?
I had surgery on my foot 3 months ago and apparently the Dr. sewed up a nerve during the surgery and I’m having pain.
I tried anti-inflammatories, pain meds, physical therapy and now 2 weeks ago he gave me a cortisone shot. It felt great the first week and now it feels the same as it did before the shot.
I thought cortisone is supposed to work for months? Is it possible it only helped me for a week?
I am leaving my apartment in about 10 days, and I recieved a text message from my landlord asking if i am going to put augusts rent in the box. I told him to use my security deposit because I have no money as I already put a deposit on another place.
The history with the LL is that I fell and injured myself on his deck – required surgery and i am still going to physical therapy for rehab. He doesnt maintain the property at all, he only comes around when the checks are to be picked up. Asked him several times to come and fix things and he never does.
Although these are not the direct reasons i am not paying this months rent, but instead using my security deposit, what else can I do? I have no money to give him.
I fell on feb 2 I hurt my back and shoulder. I stopped being in so much pain then I started physical therapy and now i am back in pain. They say its a muscle sprain. How long will this pain last. I’m ready to go back to being my old self again.
