I have CRPS which causes severe pain in my right lower leg. I have mostly lost use of my right foot. I do physical therapy exercises, however I’m looking for exercises I can do to help me lose weight as the decreased mobility has caused me to gain. I do a lot of walking still, however I need something very low impact that will give me results. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Im currently in school to become a Physical Therapy Assistant and I wanted to work as a PT Aide for the experience. I just started a job in retail makin 6.45 plus commission and I want to quit and do something that will at least help me in my future career. How do I go about searching for a PT Aide job and do they pay at least minimum wage?
I am tired of being treated like a criminal for being in pain. I was in a car accident about 7 years ago and have been in sever pain since. I have had multiple back surgeries and need disk replacements on L5 and L4. I used to be fit and a runner but since I have gain 100 lbs due not being able to be active and depression. I have lived with the pain for years but up until about 2 years ago it just got too bad. I have tried injections, physical therapies and massage therapy. I need pain meds so i can be active so I can have surgery. I am so tired of feeling guilty for asking. Please Help! I am at my wits end.
Am trying to decide whether (or when) to have a knee replacement. Am a 58 year old woman with osteo-arthritis in both knees, gradually getting worse. Have had an arthroscopy on one knee, and now the other one is worse. Want to know about the hospital procedure, pain, physical therapy, etc.
I’m interested in going to grad school for Physical Therapy…i got my BA in Exercise Physiology and I heard that it would be good to do some hours so if you have any advice or know the answer to my question i would appreciate all the help i can get 
My doctor recommends physical therapy for me — left hip replaced over a year ago and now having difficulties with right knee as well but not ready for surgery yet. (The docs say yes, I say no, not yet). I’ve fallen a couple of times and need help with strengthening and balance so I don’t fall again. There are so many choices out there. Any personal recommendations?
from hip surgery s/p hip fracture and has moderate dementia. He is currently in another facility and has made no progress since his hip surgery 3 months ago. We are looking for a facility known for it’s quality rehab(PT’s/OT’s) and it’s work with patients with dementia/Alzheimer’s. If you know of any good skilled nursing facilities/short-term rehabs in the greater Philadelphia area, please write! Thanks.
