Would I have a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy after 4 years of majoring in PRE-physical therapy, or would I need another 4 years just to get a bachelor’s?

Are Health Science , Kinesiology and Biology acceptable Pre-Physical Therapy majors ?
I was told that my major can be anything as long as I meet the requirements for physical therapy school. I plan to major in biotechnology.
But my question is….
If I’m going to be studying biotechnology, how is it possible for me to study the requirements for physical therapy school at the same time???
I don’t understand how that works
It doesn’t seem like any schools actually offer a “physical therapy” major.
i want to transfer to a school with a physical therapy major in the new england area.. do you know of any that either have that or a major that is it under? im incredibly frustrated! please help!
Since I was young I have always had problems. When I was three I went for some kind of scan and it said my bones were two years behind which explained why I was only 21 pounds.
When I was 9 I had extreme knee pain and I could hardly walk. They put heel cups in my shoes and told me there was no reason for the pain.
When I was around 12 I started having back pains. More scans were done this time I was diagnosed with scoliosis. Once again told me no reason for my pain.
Now, I am 18. I have been having problems with my left heel for over 3 months now. They have sent me for MRI’s and a CT scan. the MRI showed achillies tendenitis. They put me in a walking boot, and physical therapy.
Now, a month and a half through treatment nothing is improving. The doctor is now saying there is no reason for the pain.
I am not imaging this, I know I am not. There has to be something wrong. Any ideas, please any input.
Originally, I wanted to double major in dance and some sort of pre-Physical Therapy program. Would it be possible to simply major in dance, while taking the courses to prepare me for graduate school PT? Because, if so, that would make my life so much easier. But any information on this topic is appreciated, whether pertaining to my question or not.
Next year I’ll be transferring to a 4 year college for Pre-Physical Therapy. Their website states that you can choose any major you’d like and they list a few that most students go with. But I want to eventually get into therapuetic horseback riding and see if I can incorporate that with my Physical Therapy training. As long as I have the core required classes, I should be able to take some Animal Science classes too, right? Or is that too far off the physical therapy track?
I want to become an athletic trainer. but I know that they dont get paid very much and the hours are long. I also know that a lot of athletic trainers end up looking for a different job. So I have been looking for a back up and I was wondering if I could get my bachelors degree in athletic training, then continue on to grad school get a degree in physical therapy in case I end up wanting to switch jobs.
The college I want to go to offers no nursing, physical therapy, pre-med, pre-dental or any health related majors. What major could I have instead that would get me into the medical field?
