Can a physical therapist with a succesfull private practice make as much money as a medical doctor?

I was driving with my 6 month old and got hit head on after he came across the yellow lines. the impact flipped and rolled us and we slid on my roof. I crawled out on my knees on my roof and then had to sit and watch my baby hang inside the car until they finally got her out. very scary. she had glass in her mouth and i had neck, knees, back,wrists and ankle pains and cuts all over me. i had physical therapy and xrays etc totaling 11,000 and i hear about this “general rule” of 3x medical- but i have 2 other kids and a husband and a life that took a while to get adjusted to. im in college and it hurts in my knees still when i walk and so much more inconveniences. like i’m scared of cars hittiing me now- i even jump if they come too close. what do you think?
Two weeks ago ,I slipped on ice outside my door , I live in a handicap , elderly complex ..I spoke to my insurance rep , and he thinks that ,the buildings insurance company should pay me for pain and suffering ..As all my medical is paid by state medicaid ..
It is the buildings responsibility to remove the ice and snow , and it really has not been done well since before christmas ..Anyway the insurance investigator called we discussed things , and I sent her pictures for proof .I have been in pain ever since , and I think I may have a fracture in my hip , as i cannot sit on hard seats without pain ..I may have to go through some physical therapy , and the fall has made other medical conditions worse ..Not to mention the fact , that I hit my head hard , and am now having strange headaches ..So how much do I ask for in a settlement ..I told my mother I wanted like 5 or 6,000 , she thought that was no where near enough..Please give me an idea ..
Why So Much Leg Pain??

I have 4 ruptred disc’s and two pinched nerves.My doctor says no surgery,has me in work conditioning physical therapy,but I still have extreme sharp pains in my legs and feet. My feet still go numb. My left foot ” turns out “What is causing all this?
This is my theory. My mom goes to these physical therapy sessions for her arm because she says there’s a lot of pain in it. The problem is these physical therapy sessions are like 100 dollars our of our pocket each time. Shes been there like 6 times and shes got a shot, but nothing works. She uses very hot water all the time. Washing dishes, bathing, everything. She uses STEAMING hot water. Every time I touch water that hot it shocks me.
So I’m wondering if using all that hot water is causing her nerves in her arm to cause her pain?
By the way, shes just too stubborn to try not using hot water. I know, its annoying.
I have a torn ligament in my knee, and because of that my knee dislocates at least once a day. I’m seeing an orthro surgeon now, who has been treating me for two weeks with Vicodin while I try physical therapy to see if that will help at all. If that fails, we do a major surgery.
I called my dr for a refill on that medication (of which i’m taking only 1 every 6 hours) and was told to just take tylenol, which was what I WAS doing and it didn’t work for this terrible pain.
Long story short, i’m furious. I’m expected to be in severe pain while I go through therapy for the next three weeks. Pain so bad I can’t sleep or even walk most of the time. Is this just the way dr’s treat people? Or should I find another dr?
I am looking into Physical Therapy, and I wanted to know what their monthly payments are, and If possible, a little information on the classes I should take in High School.
My Grandmother Has Had A Bad Knee And Has Fell On It. She Is In So Much Pain! What Do I Do? Urgent?

She has gotten a Knee replacement and was not sent to physical therapy. It has been a year and she has not been so good. She fell and now she hurts badly. I need answers and fast.
9-14-05 I was parked at a stop sign in front of my house and a teenage girl hit me head on. I live in a small town and the cops here did not give here a ticket, as her dad was on scene and told the officer that my car was over the white stop line (this line is also 25 feet from the intersection). Well, the cops knew this family and did not give her a ticket. I have been going to physical therapy since the accident. I am in pain every day and get migraines so bad that I can’t function and miss work. I miss work for therapy still today. I have suffered through steroid and censorcane injections, and I am also taking Cymbalta for depression and physical pain as well as Vicotin, Ibprophin, Flexeral, etc… these are drugs I have been taking on a daily basis. I have to work out on my total gym at least 4 times a week to help keep mobility and help with muscle tightness, because as my neck muscles tighten too much from leaking fluid from herniated disks. looking at future surgery.
7 months ago I was in a car accient. my car was totalled. The other party’s insurance company admitted the girl was at fault (she pulled out of a parking lot straight into the passenger side of my car). I was the only one hurt. Had bad bruises on my chest and sore. Tore ligament in my wrist and got tendinitis too. They have paid all my time off, paid the car total amount, paid my out of pockets. The Kaiser medical bill they will have to pay willb e about $6000. I had numerous doctor visits, 2 casts, 2 cortisone injections, numerous pain meds, physical therapy, 1 MRI, and several xrays. I was in pain for about 6 months (still kinda bothers me still but doc has signed off).
Now is coming time — insurance is saying they are working on a settlement offer for Pain & Suffering. What would you think is a fair settlement offer?
PS I do not want to get a lwayer with his 1/3 fee involved at all!
