I have a grandfather in a nursing home and he was told he couldn’t get long term insurance because of a mistake that was made by the doctor saying he went in because of a heart attack. That was not true. He fell and broke his hip and was only going in for rehab. Now the Physical Therapists are telling my grandmother that he will have to stay there indefinitely and he will not be able to come back home. Well one of my grandmothers options is to divorce him because she cannot pay what they want each month. She is trying to get info from a lawyer and see what all her assets are. She doesn’t want to lose everything and i’m doing the best I can since i just got layed off from my job that went over seas. I want to know if their is something that we can do to get help financially.

Can You Get A Physical Therapy Assistant Degree Then Get A Nursing Degree At The Same School.?

I want to go to college and get a physical therapy assistant degree, then get a job working as a PTA while going to school and getting an associate degree in nursing.I want to know if this is a possible goal?
I want to become either a nurse or physical therapist, but I’m having trouble deciding where to go to college. I need to find schools with good nursing or physical therapy programs so I can figure out where I should go. Help please?
My mother weighs 500lbs, and need a nursing home with physical therapy, and the equipment to do physical therapy. the hospital is just trying to throw her in the first dump they can find.
I want a bachelor nursing degree but I also would like to obtain a physical therapy license too. So I wonder can I use those same courses for credit. Could it be possible to get them both at the time or the physical therapy first then continue with my degree?Any advice is appreciated thanks.
I figured alot of this would be working with different therapies such as speech, physical, and occupational to restore one to his or her maximum ability. What all do nurses do for these types of patients? I am kind of interested in this field of nursing but don’t know much about it. Thanks
Your best bet on this one is to just visit these homes http://local.yahoo.com/results;_ylt=AkcX… A nursing home will not be able to provide intensive physical therapy so it all depends on what exactly you mean by physical therapy. Nursing homes need to be visited. Also if you need good physical therapy you will have to take them to a physical therapist in a hospital. Nursing homes often give rides to the people in homes to outside medical care.
