Do Physical Therapist And Occupational Therapist Pretty Much Lvn’s? Doing A Lot Of Cleaning Up?

No. It is a CNA or Housekeeping that do “clean up” work. Physical and Occupational therapists work with people who have had muscle or skeletal problems. They do things like teaching them how to walk properly, build muscular strength in both upper and lower body areas. No “dirty work” involved at all and most Community Colleges offer a 2 year program, but be prepared to take a lot of pre-requisites (Anatomy & Physiology, etc).

Should I Be An Occupational Or Physical Therapist?

I am considering both career choices. To be an occupational therapist you have to have a masters degree. What I need to know is if the pay is worth the extra school or are they similar wages? I want the most money and love school, so more school isn’t a problem to me, I just don’t want to be wasting time, I’m a single mom struggling to just go to school. Thanks for any help!

Should I Choose Occupational Therapy Or Physical Therapy For A Profession?

I have been accepted into 2 graduate programs. A masters in OT and a doctorates in PT. I have worked closely with both in my job as a paraprofessional in special ed and volunteer at a rehab center. I love working the the Autism field, but I am also interested in athletic/orthopedics injuries because of my other career in athletics, so I’m very interested in both professions. Also the PT program is extremely expensive because it’s at a private school, as opposed to the in state public school for the OT program, but then again it is a doctorates over a masters. Does anyone have any advice?

Occupational And Physical Therapist College And Certificating Question?

OK now I’m at a Jr. College and taking my basics as well as a few Kinesiology classes. With the intent of becoming a PE coach. But I’ve been looking for a while at PT and OT. Both universities in my area have OT and PT under education and Kinesiology but only for a Bachelor, I would have to go else where for grad school. I do know to work at a clinic, hospital, or rehab facility you need a Masters degree with a certification. Is that right or can you take the certification exam test with a Bachelors? Are all masters programs three yrs? For OT and PT assistant is a Bachelors suitable for certification? Since the K-12 educational Kinesiology degree is a bit different from the pre OT PT will a grad school program except a student with a Kinesiology K-12 bachelor’s degree? And last I found a job opening with the local school district for a registered OT at special ed. school, but my question is on qualifications its says need Bachelors or Masters degree, so back to my question is a Bachelors ok? This type of job is nice because it involves still working with kids just like if I were to go in to coaching. https://jobs.ccisd.us/winocular/Jobs/Jobpost.exe

Is It Possible To Get A Joint Masters Degree In Occupational And Physical Therapy?

Is there a such thing as getting one masters degree in two years for two different but related majors? Kind of like a double major except it is for a master’s degree. I want to pursue careers in physical and occupational therapy, but I don’t want to stay in school for 4 whole years when the two majors are so closely related. If this is possible, what schools offer this and where are they? Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.
