A family member 57 yr old female had a massive heart attack caused by a 100% blockage of the pulmonary artery. The blockage was eliminated and stints were put in place without any further surgery. The incident occured in Sept 2008 resulting in severe brain damage due to oxygen deprivation. Neurological and physical rehab is needed with strong and intensive neuro emphasis. We would prefer a southeast facility but quality is more important than location. THANK YOU

My mother weighs 500lbs, and need a nursing home with physical therapy, and the equipment to do physical therapy. the hospital is just trying to throw her in the first dump they can find.
The exercises done in pulmonary are to help increase your endurance so you can do more of your daily activities with less shortness of breath. (There is usually no massaging involved.)
Of course, if you still smoke, the best thing to is quit. I know it is A LOT easier said than done.
