for the past 8years i have been experiencing intense amounts of pain in my right shoulder, a few years ago the pain started to radiate to the left shoulder & neck. I have been in & out of Dr’s, specialists, physical therapy ect. with no relief, or diagnoses. when its bad i cannot lift my arm above my head, cant even dress myself. anytime i move my shoulder it will crack & pop. they have suggested bursitis, tendinitis, and arthritis but it hasnt gotten any better in 8years. recently i saw a chiropractor who revealed my cervical vertebrae has no curve, he believes this is the cause of my shoulder pain.
has anyone experienced anything like this? or seen a chiropractor for a lack of cervical curve? im lost at how to fix my shoulder, any suggestions or ideas would be so appriciated.

I’ve already torn my rotator cuff once in May, didn’t need surgery, just did some physical therapy to rehab it. Now I re-injured my shoulder around thanksgiving, and it has improved, but I can’t but my hand all the way behind my back, and have some tightness when trying to raise my arm above my head. Also the front part of my shoulder is very tender. I’ve been told its just tendinitis, but I’m not sure

My sister has a pain in shoulder, and on neck right on spine. None of the doctors know what it is. They’ve had her do physical therapy, one said it was lipoma, but it turned out it wasn’t. What’s wrong with her. She’s had the pain ever since she was 6, and it still hurts she is now 16., also when you touch it it feels really weird and hard, it looks weird too like it is swollen, and it is purple from a shot a Dr. gave her to get rid of the pain which didn’t work. I am 31 and a while ago I was hit by a car and luckily only suffered a broken arm. I went for physical therapy after it healed to get range of motion back and I remembered being in a lot of pain. I can’t really explain it except it seemed to be in my elbow down my arm starting from from my shoulder from the back n even hurts my neck too. I told the DR he gave me pills and eventually it went away. It didn’t hurt for a really long time until just two weeks ago.
I had a pretty bad ear infection & eye infection that developed from an untreated sinus infection. I was home sick for a week and all of a sudden I wake up and have that same pain in my arm, shoulder and neck again. My mom said it sounds like bursitis. It goes away if I take Advil and not Tylenol. It feels much better after a hot shower too. Some days it hurts worse than other days. Some days I don’t even notice it at all! Other days the pain is so bad I don’t know what to do with myself that I have to walk back and forth and pace because the pain is so intense. I guess it gets aggravated by lifting too much or playing games and doing work on the computer. Now I kinda want to avoid going to the DR at least in hopes that it will subside again on it’s own. I have had the pain for two weeks now.
I just don’t know what could have made whatever this is flair up again. It didn’t bother me for so long, something to do with being sick? Or maybe the anti-biotics I was on? I was on three different ones. Also that day I woke up with it feeling stiff and sore, I cleaned out my closet lifted an AC and other things. Think maybe that contributed to it?

Shoulder Pain?

I’ve been having shoulder pain recently, but only when I do Incline bench press. It is the front part of my shoulder. I separated it about 4 years ago, but went to physical therapy for it, now that I’m getting back in shape again it hurts. Is it scar tissue build up, or is something torn?
About 4 years ago I started to have severe shoulder pain so i went to my doctor and he recommended physical therapy. I went to that for about 6 months and i had this little sticky thing put on my shoulder and then it was hooked up to the machine and it shot waves through ( i forgot what it was called). After 6 months my insurance would not pay for it so i stopped (plus it was not helping). When i have my arms above my head in movement it hurts really bad. After alot of movement i’m sore until the next morning(i have a hard time sleeping). It is also very sore to touch. Now i’m starting to have severe shoulder spasms…..what can i do? It’s so close to Christmas and any time i move my arm back or up it spasms. Please i would appreciate any answer. Thank you.
I’m a pitcher and I’ve had very sharp pains accompanied by grinding in my shoulder for over a month and a half with rest and persistent physical therapy every day. What could this mean?
Shoulder And Hand Pain?

well i had shoulder surgery about 4 months ago, open surgery where they had to reattach my rotator cuff tendon. i still have lots of pain, and range of motion is limited. now i have pain in my hand and wrist, same side, and i am thinking i have some kind of nerve trouble. i was doing physical therapy twice a week for 3 months and the therapist told me that there was nothing else he could do for me. he told me i should see a different orthopedic surgeon, because there was something wrong. now two weeks later, the shoulder is still painful and now my hand is messed up too.
could this be some kind of a nerve problem?
I had this operation done for torn labrum and unstable shoulder. I got my legiments tightened and labrum fixed. I went to rehab a month after surgery. I went for about a month and a half and my shoulder was beginning to feel a lot better, not 100% but better. I stopped therepy and my shoulder seems to have little pains like in the beginning of therepy. I was wondering if that means my shoulder is how it was before surgery? Or does thie little pains and discomforts means to return to rehab?
