I’ve Dislocated My Knees 3 Times Last Time Was In Sept. On My Birthday But It’s Still Swollen…?

I’ve dislocated both of my knees. The last time was in September on my birthday at the party!(SUCKED!) Well I’ve been through physical therapy for months and my knee is still swollen and they both feel like they will dislocate again. My doctor knows. What can I do for the pain? I’ve taken meds and Iced it about 5 times a day. By the way I’m 13 so it’s not like my bones are really old or anything…

Still Having Pain Resulting From Ankle Sprain After 4 Months?

I shattered my left ankle and sprained my right ankle by falling off a horse and landing on my feet. The impact was so strong that one of my ankles fractured and the other one resulting in 3rd degree sprain. I’m pretty much in the process of healing for the fractured ankle after 2 surgeries, but I am concerned about the sprained one because I’m still having pain, epecially when I rotate it around.
I also get a sudden sharp pain occasionally whever I’m walking. It’s been 4 months since the accident and I have been going to physical therapy for 2 months already.
Do you think these conditions are considered normal? Am I going to be able to get any better?

3 1/2 Weeks After Knee Sprain, Pain Almost Gone But Still Ligament Sensations, Normal?

If i walk with my knees straight…with no bending at all, i’ve noticed a big difference even from yesterday. The pain that i had is almost gone.
But walking with knees straight is like limping and not normal.
When i attemp to walk normally, i feel weird sensation in the muslce/ligament area above the knee cap, kind of like the Quad muslce. It’s not just weird, it kind of feels like really weird and so i dont feel like i should walk.
Should i keep walking with knees straight so that i dnot cause more damage or should i try to walk normally even if it feels really weird as if my ligament get tied up?
Orthopedic said my knee is stable, he did tell me to go to physical therapy. So that’s what i will do but i was wondering why pain is diminishing but the weird sensation is still there

Still Have Pain From Tendinitis. Please Help.?

OK so about 7 months ago I hurt my wrist during soccer. And maybe 2-3 weeks after that I got a cast. I had the cast for 4 weeks. Then after the cast it was still hurting. 3-4 later I went back and was diagnosed with tendinitis. I was given physical therapy for 6 weeks. That helped my flexibility a lot and the pain some too. But I still have a little bit of pain in my wrists around 7 weeks after my last doctor visit. Help. Do I need to see a doctor again. I have sprained this wrist before. And I am 12. And they say I might, might, might have a cyst. But that’s not likely. Please Help.

Discoid Meniscus Surgery But Still Have Pain(read On)?

a year ago I had surgery on my knee because I had discoid meniscus along with a tear in the cartilage. now I went to physical therapy afterward and it helped to some extent but as soon as I joined gym class my knee started hurting again so I got out of it and then about 6 month later I once again joined only to have my knee start hurting and now making this cracking sound. so of course once again I went to orthopedic and he gave me a doctors note and strict orders not to run and continue my physical therapy excercises at home. I have days that I’m fine and normal but other days my knee hurts for no reason at all and it has continued cracking(painfully at times) and of course I have no physical activity.
what do you think the reasons for the cracking and random pains are? and is there any way I can get rid of them without having to have surgery again? any excercises you might recomend?

Should I Still Have This Pain, One Year After My Dislocation?

So back in May of 2008, I was bouldering (rock climbing without a harness on a low wall) and I fell fifteen feet, caught my arm on a hold and dislocated my elbow. X-rays in the ER revealed that I had fractured a piece of my ulna off the tip of the bone and it was floating around in my joint (the reduction went just as planned, however). They were somewhat worried and referred me to an orthopedic surgeon where a CT scan revealed I had nothing to worry about.
I went through about six weeks of physical therapy and regained full range of motion back. No pain, and everything was great until about two days ago.
I was laying on the couch watching a movie and got up when I was done. I found that I couldn’t straighten my arm all the way and it was just as painful as when I first began to move my arm after it was immobilized for five weeks. It scared me, but after a couple minutes it went away and I pushed it out of my head as I had just laid on it wrong.
However, that night it did the same thing once more, and yesterday did it more than dozen times. I would get the same thing however, it would go away and my arm would just be left sore but not necessarily hurting like it had.
Is there a possibility that the bone fragment could be coming back and impairing my range of motion? Or is this just what arthritis feels like (like they had warned me I would get)? (I’m only seventeen) Is it just my tendons being stiff, I guess? And should I get this checked out by my orthopedic surgeon?

Why Am I Still Having Knee Pain After A Car Accident 9 Months Ago?

I was hit by a drunk driver last Christmas, and at the time felt no pain. Later that night, I went to the ER with knee pain, had x-rays, and was given a knee brace. I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon and had an MRI done on my knee, and he told me to go to physical therapy. The only problem was that I couldn’t go immediately since I had no car to drive and nobody to take me (it took weeks to get a car, and my parents had to work). I went back to school in mid January, (I’m a college student), and continued to have knee pain. Over spring break, I finally went to a physical therapist. I was in physical therapy until the last week of May, and was discharged. I felt fine the rest of the summer. Now school has started up, and although I’m walking a lot, I actually think I’m less busy/physically active than I was this summer. My knee is absolutely killing me with the same type of pain, and I don’t understand. Should I go back to physical therapy, or what action should I take?

Cervical Mri Negative And Still In Pain!?

I was in car accident (someone pulled out in front of us and we hit them on the side of their car). I had to go to Physical Therapy for about 2 months because I was having severe neck shoulder and upper arm pain. I just an MRI done on my neck and they found nothing wrong. I feel like Im going crazy or something because Im still in a ton of pain and I am starting to assume everyone thinks the same. Our lawyer had a radiologist take a look at the mri results and also found nothing. What do I do next and am I crazy?!
