What are the requirements for a Jamaican student to study either Physical Therapy or Pharmacy in the US?
First, what are the basic requirements to get into college over there to work towards your bachelor’s degree?
In Jamaica we are graded by CSEC and A-level exams (CXC). So how is that monitored in the US? I know I’d have to do SATs.

What kind of classes would they be required to take? How long would they have to be in college at minimum and at maximum? I have been going to physical therapy for my knee for 2 months now and I’m a junior in high school and i might be interested in going for that as a degree on top of my other career choice, which is a journalist. Of curse my mind isn’t made up, but it would be nice to know what type of classes I would have to take in college, and what steps I would have to take.

i’m a senior in high school and i plan on getting an associates in physical therapy assistance, so i would like to know some recommended fields to continue to study for after my associates.
Ok 1st I am a US Marine who was severly wounded in Iraq. I am now being offered a program for Vocational Rehab where they will send me to College to get a degree in a field that will allow me to get back into a civilian work force. The stipilation is that it must be something that I can do with my physical limitations I got from being wounded.
I cant stand for long periods of time and can’t do anything where my back would be jared around,
I was told at my last voc rehab interview that I needed to pick out some fields of study that would meet my needs and disability needs and would put me in a good place in the job market for a career.
So I am looking for ideas on what type things to major in.
They will pay for my entire education, books, tuition even anything else I need for the course. Like if I took photography they would buy me camera’s lenses and anything else I needed so that is not a concern.
i would love to become a physical therapist and help people become independent again. also, i would like to study nutrition as well. my main focus is PT but how can a study nutrition as well? my family has diabetes and lower back pain and i would like to apply what i’ve learned to them and help keep them healthy. would minoring in nutrition and majoring in physical therapy be fine? or could i have undergraduate work in nutrition and still study physical therapy? i just don’t want to waste my time when i can get a little bit of both. i want to finish asap so i can help my family. any help would be appreciated.
