My husband has “joint” custody with his children’s mother. She lives in Florida (where children were born) and we live in Georgia. We moved the children up here back in 2003 and they go to school here. She can visit anytime she wants and they are supposed to go down for visistation in summer.
However, even though it’s called “joint” custody – we have them all during the school year and she hasn’t excercised her rights of coming to Georgia to visit and last summer they didn’t go down to Florida because she was in rehab for drugs. So technically we have full physical custody basically.
My problem is, the jurisdiction is held in Florida and we want to have it moved to Georgia since this is where we reside with the children and the children live here 85% if not 100% of the time. Is this possible?? Any lawyers out there that know? And yes, we’ve talked to several already and gotten different answers so now we’re doing our own research. Any one know of websites of law?

I’m thinking of becoming a physical therapist but have always had a bit of a back problem. Does anyone know how physically demanding this job can be?
I currently go to physical therapy 2 times a wk. My pain is severe and the therapy seem to not be helping. Is there any other form of pain management of medication for muscle spasms? Pls help!
Hey everyone,
I have just recovered from a fractured toe, or a very bad case of “turf toe.”
As I type this, it hurts right now, I got out of “wrapping” last thursday, which is the 19th of June.
I play baseball and have tried to run, but it hurts when I try to run around. The pain is mostly on the balls of my feet. Is there any way I may treat it to stretch out the tendons, get the balls of my feet to stop hurting, or get back into running regularly? Please, I need experience or medical help before my next game.
Thank you.
I am looking for physical therapy assistant, and not physical therapy aide. Are there online courses out there for this?
I went to therapy a couple days ago and the entire staff was infected with the Swine Flu so then I was place face down on the bed for my back therapy and the entire time I raised my head up to where my chin rested on my wrist and the next day I woke up with neck and back pain from hell, fatigue and chest pain so is it possible I picked up the swine flu or is that I was not fully relaxed during the therapy. I went to urgent care and they didn’t do anything for me no x-ray’s nothing not even medication. The doctor also advised me that I may have caught an STD but I am married and my husband and I get tested regularly and we do not have any such things.
My husband went AWOL about 3 weeks ago. He plans to turn himself in in a week so its under 30 days so its not considered desertion? He’s only been in the army since April so he hasnt been in 180 days and he hasnt finished basic. After being in basic training for about a month or so he cracked a bone in his foot and learned he had a blood clot in his back so hes been in Physical rehab a big percentage of the time. Hes done some research and it looks like if he goes back he will just get a general discharge because he hasnt been in 180 days but I was wondering if anyone can confirm what will really happen to him. The best, worst and most likely outcome. Any information is appreciated and if you want more information please IM me aj_55_zen and yes people, I know this is a bad situation and stupid on his part and mine for allowing it so I’m not looking to see any neg. comments about how horrible we are. I just need information. I need to know whats going to happen to our family.
