Alright so a couple months ago I got told my meniscus was torn, so I went through the surgery for that, and they said my ACL was torn too.
I went through physical therapy to rehab the knee, but still haven’t had the surgery for my ACL. The surgery is in 2 weeks, and I was wondering if I should risk getting back on the skateboard or wait until I get the surgery done.
I’m really anxious though, because I was off of skateboarding for almost a year when my knee started acting up, and I was told I couldn’t try anything crazy when I went through physical therapy. I stopped the therapy 2 weeks ago, and I’m just going crazy. I don’t even wanna try tricks or anything, I just wanna skate.
So I’m asking if anyone has had this done, or some advice.

Did anyone have prolotherapy or cortisone shot treatments for a torn rotor cuff, if so can you tell me how it worked out (good or bad). I really don’t want any surgery and standard physical therapy only made it worse. I’ve have had it for years, but now the pain is so bad and constant that I need to do something.
A couple of months ago my arm started hurting the day after i pitched a game. I usually pitched every week too. at first it hurt for only like a day in the upper bicep area. But gradually over time the pain started lasting longer until now it is a constant pain if i throw or even to do a push up. i went to the doctor and got an x ray but they said all i need is physical therapy but it isn’t helping at all. can anyone help me?
Left arm and leg partially paralyzed. Have strong muscles. My main concern is the swelling does not go away. The rehab and the home physical therepist tell me to walk on it, but I think I should go to an orthopedist. What do you say?

What Should Be The Minimum Amount That I Settle For My Automobile Accident With A Torn Rotator Cuff?
Jan 24
In October 2005, I was at a complete stop and was rear-ended by a 15 year old who was going at least 40 mph. I suffered from whiplash and a torn rotator cuff. I went through physical therapy for about 7 weeks which did not help. I had to have surgery in May 2006 and 8 additional weeks of therapy. Even now, I am still in pain. My Orthopedic surgeon believes I have not healed because of some type of autoimmune issue (non diagnosed arthritis ). So I was referred to a Rheumatologist who believes that I have reactive arthritis. She believes that the surgery caused a “flare up.”
I have never had an issue with shoulder pain before the accident. How would the claim department view this case? Would they reduce my claim because they felt I had a pre-existing medical condition? The sum of my medical bills so far is about $19,500, my car had $3300 damage and I had $2000 lost wages. I have a lawyer and I am required to pay my health insurance once I receive my settlement.
i’m going for the first time tomorrow and i’m just wondering what exactly they do in physical therapy for a torn knee ligament.
I was hit from behind in a car accident while giving a stoping hand signal. At the time of impact because of how my shoulder was located between the door frame the ligaments in my shoulder were torn. After about a month of severe pain i went to the doctor and was given medication as the blood from the ligament being torn went into the arm and shoulder muscles and had become infected. The accident was in Feburary and the medication was taken throughout April. My doctor said that after the medication everything should be fine, however we are in May now and i still have much pain and limited use of my right hand. Is some form of physical therapy needed and if so what can i do to start this process.
I tore my ACL about a year ago.. I got the surgery about 2 months after injuring it and started physical therapy.. I only stuck with it for like 2 months and since then I haven’t really been exercising it at all..I stopped going to physical therapy because I couldn’t handle it anymore for personal reasons… [not trying to make excuses, but I had a lot of personal problems in my life and mental state and I couldn't handle being around people] I know I’m stupid… but now it’s a year later and my knee is weak and I can barely run.. sometimes it feels stronger than other times….I can walk fine but running and shifting my weight in certain ways feels dangerous because it feels like it’s going to tear again..
So my question is .. even though I haven’t been exercising my knee is it possible I can still rehab it back to relatively normal again? or is it too late? It kinda sucks to think I might never be able to run properly again in my life…and I will just die if it tears again and I have to go through surgery again!
