I currently go to physical therapy 2 times a wk. My pain is severe and the therapy seem to not be helping. Is there any other form of pain management of medication for muscle spasms? Pls help!

I’ve been dealing with chronic lower back pain for almost 5 years. There’s never a moment that I don’t have the pain. Physical Therapy has been unsuccesful. After almost 5 years the have FINALLY diagnosed me with sacroiliitis and lumbosacral radiculopathy. I’m having a nerve test done on my legs in about 3 weeks. What kind of treatment other than antiamflamatories and physical therapy is out there to get rid of this constant debilitating pain?? Thanks!

It has to be better than the fusion surgery I had which was $70,000 in 2001 I had it 7 years ago and I still take pain medication every day and will be disabled for life.

I was wondering because my doctor referred me to physical therapy, but she also said that I could get injections too. For those who do not know what sciatica is, it is the strain of the sciatic nerve that travels from your back, through your leg, to your foot causing sever pain, numbness, and tingling in your foot.
