I have had alot of pain in my knee since about July.
Symptoms:
*The Pain is right above my knee cap
*It hurts when my knee is bent(sitting, walking up stairs, jumping)
*Once I am sitting for a while, then pain decreases to a dull ache, and then when i go to extend it, it hurts again.
*It is my left knee
*I have VERY FLAT feet. I’ve had physical therapy on my feet because i have flat feet and VERY BAD OVERPRONATION. My bone in my foot actually rolls over onto the ground when I walk, when in a normal person it stays up and supports your foot.
*I also have a screw in that same ankle.
*I think the pain is caused by my knee trying to make up for what my foot is doing, and it’s injuring my knee.
Any advice? What do you think it could be? Tips?
Thanks!

ok so i asked a question on here about 2 weeks ago about my lower back pain and a few of the answers were very helpfull well now im stuck in a thought: i have been given 4 different answers
1. I was told it was a compression fracture
2. I was told that it was a compression of the L1
3. I was told it was the nerved being compressed by a “peek-a-boo disk”
4. i am now being told it is just really bad muscle spasms
now this is all coming from 1 doctor as to wich why i am now stuck in thought today upon my visit with her she told me quite frankly ” i dont have magical powers, i cant make you better” and while telling her about the pain and how it effects on on what i do on a daily basis she says “oh just move around that will get you going, and make you better” i was sent to physical therapy by another doctor the one who told me it was possible nerve compression. and when i told that to the doctor i saw today again “there just physical therapists, they cant tell you what the pain is coming from”….. so after not being satisfied with seeing her she finally refered me to a back specialist whom of which i am hoping to recieve accurate results from i am a 24 year old woman who has gone from no back pain a day in my life to now have non stop back pain that radiates up and down my spine and into my left leg. (and because i could not pin point one specific area of the leg she said she was 100%sure that there was nothing other then back spasms) so if any of you can offer advice i am in great need of something any thing usefull that could better help me get to the bottom of this is greatly appreciated

I have had bad shoulder pain for about 2 years, maybe a little less than that. But my first though was a dislocated shoulder, but I think its just something wrong with the rotator cuff. Also, when i pull my arms back I can feel that my good shoulder blade goes back much farther than the other. Anyway, its WAYY more annoying than painful, but it DOES hurt sometimes. I am always moving it around in a strange way because it is SOO annoying, and people give me weird looks. I went to physical therapy for a while and saw no big improvements at all, so I stopped because it was obviously just wasting my money. Recently the problem has increased. My guess is that it is from bad posture (which I have had my whole life). I am on the computer alot which probably did most of the damage. I went thru a year of college with this problem and would like to see some results finally. Any help at all would be highly appreciated!

Hello my husband has been living with severe backpain for over a year now and is in need of help with remedies or something. Weve had an MRI and they said it looked like minor arthritis and a small ammount of deteriorating disks. he is currently on Darvocet 100/650 and it isnt really cutting it. Here is what the doctors have tried.
Gabopentin- doesnt touch the pain at all or help in any way
Vicodin- doesnt work for him
Tens unit- barely works, doesnt take pain away
relafen- doesnt work for him
lidocain patches- doesnt work for him
phentynol patches- makes him sick when he goes in any heat
or sun
ice- he doesnt like it
What can we do? I know there has to be alot of people going through this that may be able to help. Chiropractor hasnt helped, pain management hasnt helped, he says physical therapy wont work and I dont know what to do.
