Im a student pursuing a career in Physical therapy and im in the process of applying… Im trying to write a personal statement letter. Can someone please give me advice on writing a really good letter??
I fell and sprained my ankle 3 times this year and went through physical therapy and Know I am healed. Every since the 2nd time I sprained my ankle my knee bothers me randomly and gives out or when I walk or run it hurts. Its the inner and outer sides of my knee and right in the center of my knee cap. I dont think it hurts enough to go through thearapy but at times it does. Can I just Tape my knee or wrap it or get a brace?
I’m scheduled for therapy after scopic surgery on my knee (which doesn’t want to bend). Will it hurt? Should I take pain meds ahead of time or just tough it out?

My husband’s had a spinal fusion and a spinal cord stimulator (wonderful device) implanted but he still have pain in his lumbar. He’s had chiropracty, osteopathy, electrofied acupuncture, watsu, every drug you can think of, physical therapy, trans-cutaneous nerve stimulation, pain relief patches (lido and fentynyl), electronic muscle stimulation, pool therapy, nitro paste, and I’m sure I missed a few. What are you all doing for your chronis back pain?

I’m beginning to wonder if rehab only works if the addicts admits themselves, not forced into going…

A co-worker’s wife has a pinched nerve in her back, that otc pain relievers aren’t helping and physical therapy isn’t working either. Any ideas? She doesn’t like taking heavy duty meds because of her job.
